Playing in Ensembles

Some of the fondest memories of trumpet playing have come from playing in ensembles. Whether you play in a small trio or in a large brass choir, it is a totally different experience from playing in an entire band. Ensemble work is different from band work because there are less people, and more attention must be paid towards the texture and interweaving of the sounds. Here are some tips on how to improve your ensemble's play:
