Prevention

People who want to prevent tick-bites should wear closed, bright coloured clothes in order to recognize the ticks early. You can also use repellents in form of skilotions to protect yourself against ticks.
After staying in biotopes of ticks, clothes and skin should be carefully inspected, especially between the legs, in the back of the knees, under the arms and in the neck. In ESME-areas you should be vaccinated against the ESME-virus
