Aerodynamics, Stability, and Simulating Model Rockets:

A more in-depth look at the factors governing model rockets!

Regardless of size, the design of all rockets has to take many of the same factors into account. Understanding these factors are key to designing a successful rocket, and in this section of The Hitchhikers Guide to Model Rocketry you'll be introduced to the methods utilized in calculating factors leading to a stable, high performance rocket! To wrap this section up, we'll look at a Java program written to take care of the messy work involved in calculating the stability, and performance of your rockets. It's available as both an applet, and an application!
