What Is The Guide?

The Hitchhikers Guide to Model Rocketry is, by definition, a web site. But it is ever more than that. Some would call The Guide 'Utopia' (these people are, shall we say, deranged?), this however, is no t the case.

The Guide is a meeting place for all model rocketeers. The Guide brings people together, and sends them towards the heavens, ever upward in a search for a higher place (oh boy, this is starting to sound like a cult , it is not, we assure you).

The Guide is also a dream. A dream of three students hoping to one day make it to college. The Guide enables them to think broadly, flex their skills. The students (isn't it scary when people write in the 3rd person about themselves?) who created The Guide did so because they want the Internet to be looked upon as a tool for teaching, not a place to get XXX rated materials. Of course, the possibility of earning a college scholarship has crossed their minds (actuall y quite often). If you like The Guide, please send a self addressed, stamped envelope along with 36 million dollars to:
 	 The Guide
 	 989 Lollipop Lane
 	 Quollville, Utopia 64396
The students writing this are, of course, kidding (About the money)

Seriously, The Guide allows for people all over the world to learn more about the fascinating world of model rocketry. It allows people to venture into the semi-complex math behind rockets, or just give up trying to lear n calculus and build their own with virtually no math! The Guide also allows for those creative types to learn how to design, and the build, their very own rocket!
