Introduction
This is the Site Info Section. What is Site Info,
you ask? Well, Site Info is the place on our web
site, where we get to tell you about us. It is a
place for you to give us feeback on what we could
do better or what we could do worse. (Why we
would want to do something worse I don't know ...
but please tell us what you think!) I you are
going to e-mail us with your thoughts, there is
an e-mail button to your left, or you can e-mail
us at 10556@advanced.org (Link no longer functioning). If you would
like to get in touch with some of the individual
programmers, please use the Meet The Team Section and
then you can e-mail each person individually
there. Random
Golf Links
For those of you, who have looked through the
whole site, and haven't found what you want ...
then this section is for you. What we have done,
is provide a long (i emphasize LONG!) in which
maybe can find what it is that you are looking
for. Also, if you are doing research on golf,
these links might be an easy spot to find
information.
Our Resources
No good site is complete with a section which
gives credit to all those who helped because no
one person can have or know every piece of
information in the world. So we want to tell the
world who helped us, which books we used, and
just generally say "We needed help to build
a site of this magnitude!" So check it out.
Meet The Team
This is the section that I was talking about
above. It is here that you can meet the
programmers behind this site. You will find
pictures of the three coaches and three students
that designed The Golf Course! Check us out ...
and tell us what you think. We like to hear from
you because then we will know that we royally
messed up or we did a pretty good job.
How The Team
Functioned
This is the section where we get to tell you a
little about our team and how it functioned. Did
you know that Eugene is from Singapore? Did you
know that Anthony spent his summer in Italy? I
bet you didn't know that the site was built with
Jamie moving between New Jersey and
Massachusetts, Anthony was moving between New
Jersey and Italy, and Eugene was in school in
Singapore? Neat Huh? Well there is more ...
Did you know that our team would meet every
Sunday morning (United States Time) and Sunday
night (Singapore Time) to talk about our site?
Did you know that when the United States moved
from Daylight Savings Time it confused the whole
meeting tme thing? How about, did you know that
two of the Golf Course Students are multiligual?
Well, Anthony is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and
English. Eugene, is pretty fluent in Chinese,
German, and English. What a team you say? Well, I
would suggest that you read more!
Teacher's
Corner
This section is for teachers. The Golf Course
Team designed this site so that it could be used
in the classroom environment. We worked closely
with our coaches to design suggested uses for
this site in the classroom. Please stop in and
check out how this site can be used in schools.
