These links are here for those of you who don't know exactly what you are looking for to get you started using the internet in the classroom. So we decided to give you a little starting area to find the building blocks that you are looking for.

  • CEC Lesson Plans --This site offiers an extensive listing of K-12 lessons on a variety of subjects brought to you by the Columbia Education Center. The CEC is the home of the Science and Mathematics Consortium for Northwest schools.
  • CancerHelp UK --The Medical School at England's University of Birmingham brings us a site that contains extensive cancer information. Be sure to check out the user-friendly Q&A section.
  • Creative Classroom On-line --Elementary school teachers are welcome to exchange classroom tips or print off an activity at this site.
  • Dead Sea Trek --Discovery Channel Online correspondent Jim Malusa rides a bicycle to the Dead Sea. You can find out what he is taking on his trip, or send him e-mail.
  • Fractal Images --Sharon Webb offers a beautiful collection of fractal images using a software application called Flarium24.
