Pelz, David, Putt Like the Pros: Dave pelz's Scientific Way to Improve Your Putting (1989) (not much physics discussed)

Templeton, HA, Vector Putting: The Art and Science of Reading Greens and Computing Break (1984) (good for reading greens)

Zumerchick, John, Encyclopedia of Sports Science, 2 vols. (1997).

These books are usually only available in a university library, and some only through interlibrary loan, but the Pelz and Jorgenson books are often in stock at Borders and brnes & Noble. Good luck.
