i myself am doing an expieriment to try to answer the eternal question about golf balls and distance. Ypu may want to try my expieriment. It is simple, take a few clear plastic tubes attached to flat pieces of metal. then drop however many different balls down different tubes and measure the height they bounce. hope this helps.
