IMMIGRATION MUSEUM

ONLINE

Welcome to our Immigration Museum Online!

This is a place where you can find out about some of the families in our local area whose ancestors have journeyed to America. You will be able to view family photographs and treasured family heirlooms, read interviews and personal stories, and learn what life was like from real people who chose to make America their homes.

You're Invited

As we were working on this web site about genealogy, we found that stories from our relatives are being lost through the generations. If you are a resident of Lakeville or Freetown, you are invited to submit your family's story of immigration to the United States, which may be added on to our web site and saved on disk in our school library. You can send us your story in one of two ways: You may e-mail it or send it to the following address:

Computer Science Classroom

George R. Austin Middle School

112 Howland Rd., Lakeville, MA, 02347.
