This is the composer window. It's really very easy to use. In the Mail To field, put the e-mail address of the person you wish to send the mail to. The cc field stands for 'Carbon Copy'. You can put additional addresses here for people you wish to recieve copies of the message. The Subject line is just that.
Type your message in the bottom portion of the window. It is common courtesy to include a 'signature' at the bottom with your name and address in it.
Press the Send button at the top when you wish to send your message.
