2. Under the File menu, select New Folder.

3. Click once on the new folder's name.

4. Replace the contents of the label with the word 'Download'.

Using the folder:

Netscape Navigator

Mac users: Select Options | General Preferences. Select the Apps tab. Click the Download button. Press the Desktop button, then double-click on your Download directory. Press the Select button. Any files you choose to download will appear in that directory. You'll never have to specify the folder again.

PC users have it a little more difficult. You have to choose your downloads directory every time you want to save a file.

Windows 3.1 Users: Make sure that the C drive is your current drive. Click on c:\ from the list on the right, and then double-click on the Download directory.

Window 95/NT Users: Pick your C drive from the drop-down box at the top of the Save window, and double-click on the Download directory. Press the Save button.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Mac Users: I'm not sure.

Windows 3.1 Users: coming soon

Windows 95/NT Users: Just use Netscape.
