Here's where you can see Singapore's History in chronological order. Use this page to navigate through the On-Line History textbook easily.
Fast facts introduces Singapore in a nutshell. Here you can find out about Singapore's geography, climate, people, as well as flora and fauna. The area of the site also contains National Symbols, like the Anthem, Flag, Flower and the Coat of Arms.
Take a walk through Singapore's architectural history. Many of these buildings and monuments played an important role in the History of Singapore. They are mostly situated around the "Padang", including the Supreme Court, St. Andrew's Cathedral, just to name a few. The two statues of our Founder Sir Stamford Raffles are also featured here.
The On-Line History Textbook...definitely more interesting than the usual conventional, boring history textbook. Some of its features include small quizzes at the end of each chapter, to test you on the textbook contents.
Be transported back in time to the Founding of Singapore. Explore Sir Stamford Raffles study, take a stroll through Commercial Square and talk to a genie. Just a note: HistoryALIVE! does not run on Macintoshes and it requires a JAVA-enabled browser.
We would like to thank...
