The
The OME team was formed back in December when Dave, Chris, and Holly decided how much fun it would be to design a web page, not only about something they enjoyed, but about something that they could teach to other people, and help people to understand more about.
Even if they don't win anything, the one thing they hope that they accomplish by designing this page is that people will learn more about music. The ThinkQuest contest was designed to help students educate people, not to make the flashiest or most technologicaly advanced sight possible. They hope that if people walk away from this site, they walk away with more knowledged about music then when they came into this, and they sincerely hope that everyone who visits the OME will learn something about music, whether it be the littlest or largest of facts, by the smallest or largest of people. As long is something is learned, they'll be satisfied.

Our coaches were also very supportive and understanding with this as we worked on this project. Many times we wanted to go to them for assistance, but we knew we had to complete this endevour on our own. However, we give a big hats of to Ms. Marna Wiess, Ms. Kathy Matier and Mr. Al Torrente for all of their support in this project. Thanks!
