Law and Medical schools typically have much more complex application procedures than other schools. Some schools require that you take one or two years in another program before you apply
to the law or medicine programs. Others require that you write tests such as the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) or the MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test). You should carefully
read the school's calandar as well as contact an advisor if you are interested in applying to one of these programs.
