Welcome to the virtual lecture hall. You'll need at least a 14.4k data connection and the RealAudio player to listen to the lectures. If you have any difficulties accessing the lectures or installing the RealAudio player, please let us know, and we'll do our best to help you out, or you can visit the RealAudio Help Site for the customer FAQ and other RealAudio support pages.
Mrs. Janice McNeil, a former Advanced Placement U.S. History teacher at Cypress Falls High School, first offered to make her lectures available on the Internet during the second semester of the 1996-97 school year. The lectures were a great supplement to the class and were utilized by students across the nation towards the end of the second semester. Within the next few years, we're hoping to expand the lecture hall to include the lectures of other American history teachers on the Internet. If you're a teacher, professor, or just somebody who's very knowledgeable on a certain aspect of American history and would be interested in contributing to the lecture hall, please contact us at (link disabled) and we'll give you more information. Otherwise, enjoy the lectures!
