The Sharpen Filters

The Sharpen Filters produce the exact opposite of the Blur Filters and some of the Noise filters that I went over earlier. They are useful for clearing up blurry or out of focus images.
Sharpen, Sharpen More
These filters do essentially the same thing, except Sharpen More applies the effect at a greater level. They enhance and clarify the contrasting areas of an image. These are two of the simplest and easiest to use filters in Photoshop: they don't even have pop-up dialog boxes to adjust the levels they are applied at!
The Sharpen Edges Filter
This filter is the inverse of the Despeckle Noise Filter. Instead of softening and making the sharp contrast areas within an image, it brings them right out into the open.
The Unsharp Mask Filter
This filter enhances edges or areas of contrast in the quietest, most unnoticeable way. The filter creates a dark line on one side of the edge, and on the other, it creates a light line. The user is given the option of specifying the radius, how far out from the edge the dark and light lines should be created.
The Pixelate Filters
