The Pixelate Filters

Color Halftone
This filter performs color-separation on an image. It converts overstated reduction of color information to half-tone dots, creating a nice effect. This filter can also be used on a grayscale image.
Crystallize
This filter achieves its effect by applying irregular solid-color shapes. The user-defined option of cell size specifies the size of the solid color shapes. This filter will make the image look as if the surface is covered with bumpy glass.
Facet
The Facet Filter alters and distorts the color values of the pixels in an image to make clustered pixels that mirror the overall color of an image. It produces a very soft effect, and it doesn't even have a pop-up dialog box to adjust intensity.
Fragment
This filter takes the original image and creates four copies and aligns them together offset by a distance of one or two pixels with about half opacity. This filter has no real use.
Mezzotint
This filter creates a pattern on top of the image that the user specifies. Options are strokes, lines, and dots. This can create an interesting effect simulating two images overlapping, with the top one at partial opacity.
Pointilize
As the name implies, this filter creates an effect similar to pointillistic paintings. The user can change the shape of the dots and the background color, the color between the dots.
