The Distort Filters
The Pinch Distort Filter
The Pinch
Distort Filter gives the
appearance of indentation in the image or a pop-out effect. To achieve an indented effect, set the pinch setting anywhere from 1 to 100%. To get a pop-out effect, select a negative setting up to -100%. If you want a "bump" in the image, this is the filter to use.The Ripple Distort Filter
The Ripple Distort Filter creates waves in a Southeast direction (you can't change
that). The only option you get is how large the waves will be. Using the slider in the pop-up dialog box, you can adjust the intensity of the ripples. The Twirl Filter
The Twirl Filter creates exactly what it says, a twirl effect. It is sort of like the water in a whirlpool. The twirl filter is really only useful for cool-looking logos since it can destroy many other kinds of images.
