Scott Hays

(Scott Hays, one of the founding fathers.)

Even though he was strongly encouraged to take up a professional career in dish drying, Scott resisted those pressures and continued playing the horn with his good friends, Emily and Todd, in the Galesburg High School Band. After high school, he put himself through college working as an intelligence agent for the CIA.

While in college, he had made billions of dollars in the stock market, so when he finished college, Scott felt like spending some of it. He took trip around the world and then rented a space shuttle which took him up for brief stay on the International Space Station. After this, he donated the rest of his fortune to charity and dropped out of the public eye.

With his fortune spent or given away, Scott went looking for work at SANA, the new space agency. Because of his excellent credentials, he was immediately hired as the new Interstellar Missions Designer (IMD).

For some 20 years, Scott worked as the IMD for SANA, designing and directing over 100 interstellar missions. He designed the first Mars colony and led the mission to build it. However, because of corruption in management, middle aged Hays left SANA to start a new space agency, the New Space Agency (NSA).

The NSA achieved new heights in space exploration. As SANA declined and lost funding, NSA began manning stations on Europa and Io. After 50 years of discovery, Scott left the space agency that he founded for a city on Mars. When he reached the age of 203, Scott then left to search for his good friend, Jacob Crouch, who had gotten lost in black hole 53 years earlier. To the best of our knowledge, he hasn't returned, although rumors about a very, very, very old man living in a far out colony.

On a personal note: "I would like to give special thanks to Serge Prokofiev, whose superb music kept me as sane during those long hours staring at the screen."
