The Inventing Room:

Like NASA, the Koinaean scientists often come up with some pretty cool inventions that can be used in everyday life. Some inventions be NASA include Velcro (pictured at left), water filters that fit on your faucet, and cookware that can go straight from the hot to the cold without cracking. In order to make life easier for the colonists, the scientists on Koinae have come up with some inventions of their own. One of these inventions is a pair of magnetic boots used by the colonists to compensate for the lower gravity of Mars. Since the body normally becomes weaker in less gravity, the magnetic boots make it harder to walk, so the muscles have to work harder and they get stronger. These are very useful for those who like to run or work out in a gym. Can you think of anything that would make life on Mars easier? We'd love to hear about you ideas for inventions!
