Health and Recreation Sphere

Welcome to the Health and Recreation Sphere! Here, the colonists of Koinae relax after a hard day of work. It is also where people go when they are sick or injured.

Keeping up a colony on Mars is hard work; there is always more to do. Because of this, citizens need a place to go where they can unwind and get away from the stresses of the day. For these purposes, the people of Koinae go to the Koinae Gym, where they can work out on exercise equipment or the Sports Facility where they can physical sports. People who prefer to get away from other people go to the Arthur C. Clark Library where they can read or watch telecasts from Earth in peace and quiet. For the astronomers living on Mars, the Urbain Leverrier Observatory provides powerful telescopes that show the beauty of Martian heavens.

People who get sick or injured in Koinae cannot easily be sent back to Earth for medical treatment. Koinae's Sickbay facility is designed to handle anything from a broken arm to mental breakdown.
