BIBLIOGRAPHY

During the construction of our web site, many people generously gave permission for the use of their photos and for which our team is extremely grateful. We would like to wish them much luck and success in the future and an enormous thankyou.
These special acknowledgements go to:

James Baines, a very accomplished Australian artist, for allowing us to use 'Broome Odyssey' which was commissioned by the Shinju Matsuri Pearl festival of Broome. The montage documents the colourful history and rich heritage of the West Australian pearling port of Broome from 1688 to 1989.

Hugh Edwards, a West Australian author who has had a long love affair with Broome, resulting in his many books on Broome Pearling, particularly 'Pearls of Broome' from which much information was gained.

Marilynne Paspaley of Paspaley Pearls for very generously allowing us to use photo's related to pearling.

Kevin, an american now living in Broome since 1977, who is the author of 'Tales from Broome', from which we have obtained pearling stories of interest.

The Pigram Brothers, Ted Egan, and Ellen Puertollano for very generously allowing us to reproduce segments of their songs related with the pearling industry.
