We have now entered the center stage of the Indian Himalayas - the majestic Garhwal region. Explore this section by following the subtopics listed on the left hand side of the page.

Notice the toolbars at the bottom of the page. The first toolbar is the navigation toolbar.

• The buttons with the the forward and backward arrows can be used to navigate among different topics while exploring the Himalayas by region.
• The "Map" option can be chosen to view our collection of maps of the Garhwal region.
• The "Top" button sends you to the top of the page to aid navigation.
• The Index button takes you to the opening page of our site from where you can choose the index that your system can support i.e. text-only, normal or java-enhanced version.

The second toolbar can be used to submit your Himalayan stories and also to view new stories submitted by others. It will be explained at a later stop in our tour.
