Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens) The Red Panda is omnivorous and feeds on on bamboo and othervegetation, along with fruits and insects. It lives in the highmountains among rocks and trees. It is a nocturnal animal and usually lives alone, in pairs, orin family groups. The litters generally contain one or two that are born in spring after a gestation period of about 130 days.
