Crash/retrieval episode
South of Alamogordo, Otero country, New Mexico, USA
1962
Some Sources place this event near Holloman Air Force Base, 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Alamogordo; others have placed it 90 miles (145 km) south of the city. On an unspecified date in 1962, a UFO was tracked across two south-western states on military radar. Jets were launched after them, but as the UFO crossed into New Mexican airspace it began to lose altitude. The UFO crashed on the desert sand at 90mph (145 km/h); its flight immediately beforehand indicated that any occupants were either dead or had lost control before the impact. The UFO was circular, about 68ft (20 m) in diameter and about 13ft (4 m) high. It was taken to a major military base in the south-west so that its means of propulsion could be investigated. Two 42 inch (1 m) long beings were found dead inside. They had oversized heads, large eyes, tiny noses, pink-gray skin, small mouths and holes for ears. They were wearing one-piece suits. Next day the bodies were removed to a major medical university hospital somewhere in the U.S.
