What are UFOs?

UFOs are unidentified flying objects. This means that they can be anything flying that is unknown to the observer. They may be from space or from a secret military base of some kind. If someone has told you that they have seen a UFO, this does not mean it has Extraterrestrials on it. Many people think there is a link between Extraterrestrials and UFOs but they really don't have anything to do with each other all the time.

What are Extraterrestrials?

Terrestrial Life is life that has originated from Earth, while Extraterrestrial Life is life that does not. This does not mean that this life is intelligent. It may be any type of living-organism, small or large. Many names have been given to Extraterrestrials including Aliens and Martins. These names mean something different. Martians were the name given to life forms that were believed to have existed on Mars, when rivers that were thought to be canals were found on the planet. They were thought to connect a great civilization together as a method of transportation. Alien was the name given to intelligent life forms from outer space. Aliens would actually be beings not from Earth. Many times these names are used interchangeably.

Is there life in space?

Our solar system has nine planets and one star, the Sun. Our solar system is only one among hundreds of billions in our galaxy. Our galaxy is only one of many in the universe. There are so many planets that we could never count them. If only .05 percent of them could support life, there would still be billions of planets that would support life. Of this number of planets that can support life, we are probably not the only planet that has life on it. Organisms have been found on asteroids that have come from space. Of the life that is out there, it is impossible to know how many of them are intelligent. We cannot, however, say we are the most intelligent life or the only intelligent life in our universe. We cannot think this way if we are to explore space. We must be ready to encounter any intelligent life we may encounter on Earth or in space.

Have we been visited by intelligent life?

There have been many sightings of UFOs that have not been fakes. There is no reason that these sightings had to be explained by extraterrestrial spacecraft and aliens. There is a possibility that we have been visited, but it seems that the governments around the world and these possible beings want to keep this a secret for some reason. It is possible that if they existed they are trying to prepare us for their entrance into society by studying us, our customs, and languages. They would want to prepare us so that we don't have any conflicts as the settlers in North America had conflicts with the Indians when they settled North America. So if we are being visited we may not know until they feel we are ready to accept them.

Could aliens be a threat to humankind?

Aliens could be a large threat to mankind. We could also be a threat to them. Just as we carry disease aliens may also carry it. Since we would have different immune systems, a simple cold that we have could eliminate the aliens' whole species on their space craft, and if they had a disease it could wipe out the whole human population on Earth. Aliens could also be a threat to humankind if they didn't want us to be here. If they have the technology to go thousands of light years to get to our planet they would most likely have the technology to eliminate the entire human race. It would be possible for the movie Independence Day to become a reality.

What is the cause of crop circles?

Reports of crop circles have come from all over the world. As many as 16 different countries including Australia, USA, and Japan among others have had some report of these strange incidents. When crop circles first appeared they were circles ranging in size from as small as a cart wheel to that of a circus arena. As time went on they became more complex. One crop circle consisted of a pattern of circles that exactly reproduced the Mandelbrot Set Fractal. When asked, no human imitators could reproduce this. Many people formed hypothesises to the cause of these circles. Some people said they were caused by deer, others say by hordes of rutting hedgehogs. Some observers regarded the circles as mystical messages from the Earth's consciousness, while others said they were created by alien beings using force fields unknown to us. Many researchers believe the phenomenon to be the work of hoxers while the simple patterns to be formed by a combination of whirling winds and electrical affects. There is no known relationship between crop circles and UFO's.
