The LinkAge 2000 Student Produced section is designed to provide students around the world with the opportunity to highlight and share their own intergenerational experiences.
What types of things should be included in this section? Descriptions of any intergenerational activity or program developed by students for students and older adults, creative writing and creative intergenerational ideas. For your conveience, the followi ng is a list of themes and prompts to help you get started.
Creative Writing ideas might include: Write about what your life might be like when you are 100 years old; Write a composition starting with "The most surprising thing I learned from an elderly person..." or "The funniest story an elderly person ever tol d me..."; Write a poem about being in love in your eighties or nineties.
Some examples of Intergeneration Projects are: inviting retired persons into the school for a discussion; students working at senior center or nursing homes; students and elderly working together to preserve the history of their community
