i would greatly appreciate any help and response to my question. i want to teach secondary english (i currently have a degree in anthropology and am planning on returning to school) and i am trying to make what is, for me, a very difficult decision. i am trying to decide whether or not to participate in an act of civil disobedience in protest of this war. it will be NONVIOLENT and will likely result in arrest with misdemeanor charges. my question is this: will participating in civil disobedience leading to arrest greatly affect the possibility of teaching in a high school setting? i really want to teach and i want to make an informed decision. please help me with any knowledge, advice, experience, or information you have. i will check this posting and i can also be reached at albion@never-ever.net. thank you sincerely. matt iv
