Hello,
I am an Instructional Technologist in Council Bluffs Iowa assisting a
social studies teacher who is trying to locate people who experienced
the Great Depression. We have established a discussion at
www.blackboard.com and are looking for willing participants to join us
and answer the questions of approximately 18 high school freshmen
students. Can you offer any suggestions or possibly forward this

1. Type in the address: http://www.blackboard.com
2. Under "Find a Course", type in depression101 and click “go”
3. You will see the course entitled "Conversations about the Great
Depression"
4. Click “Go to Course” next to “Enroll in course” and “preview course”
5. Click "Enter as Guest".
5. To the left, you will see a menu of icons. Click “Discussion Board”
6. Under Discussion Threads you will see a variety of questions posted
by our students. Click on any of the questions to read them.
7. Click “Reply” at the bottom of the page if you would like to reply to
the question.
8. The “Discussion” button is always to the left, so if you get lost in
the maze of questions, click “Discussion” to go back to the top.
