While LinkAge 2000's built-in graphical display of data (Graph-It), should be adequate for the most common uses, it does not cover comparisons you may wish to perform. In addition, since the online database is constantly being updated as new data arrives, your analysis performed online may very well yield different results than the same query performed a day or even an hour ago. Therefore, you have the option of downloading the database to your computer so that you may perform statistical or graphical analysis using your favorite database program (such as Microsoft Access).
When importing the file (DATABASE.TXT) to your favorite analysis program, make sure to indicate that the file is a comma-delimited text file. You may also need to know that each record is terminated with a carriage return. The first entry contains the header information, that is, a short description of the field (ie., age, country of origin, etc.). Relational comparisons are best performed in a database program, so it is not advisable to import the information to a spreadsheet.
Download the database now by either right-clicking on the link below and selecting "Save target as..." or "Save link as...". Then, enter DATABASE.TXT for the file name and press Enter. Alternatively, you can left-click on the link below and then choose " Save as..." or "Save as file..." from the "File" menu of your browser.
