Tips on writing onto an existing story:
The first thing that has to be done is to observe the part of writing; read through the text and discover the plot, theme, setting and style. Find out whether the text is the beginning, middle, or end of a story, and once observing these features, the story will be much easier for you to write.
Examples of pre-written work:
Justin sat on a grassy slope, watching the boy who was scrambling over the rocks qt the southern end of the bay. "I should go and talk to him" he told himself, "after all, he did save my life".
In this text I have picked up that a boys name is Justin. The setting is near a bay. This could be from the start or middle of the story, but not from the end. This is what I would add;
All of a suddon the boy dissapeared into the rocks. Justin blinked his eyes to make sure that he was not imagining it. Justin stood up and walked closer to the sand. He kept his eyes on the rocks where the boy had been. Justin sensed something strange. He started to run towards the rocks. He gradually started sprinting. He didnt stop sprinting until he reached the rocks. Justin stared at the rocks, and at the exact rock that the boy had been. There was no opening, no cave, and the boy was no where to be seen.
