You have a great site which is very informative. It is the best site I have visited so far on Greek and Roman Architecture. I have found in doing research on many web sites of the two architectures that there is very little to no history on how the massive structures were built. I am doing a reseach paper in Art History (due by 5/1/00) and I need to know what materials were used as well as how the massive walls and columns were actually structured and put into place. I understand concrete was the main material used in such beautiful architure as The Pantheon, The Partheon and The Coliseum. If you have any information on what I need please send me an e-mail. Thanks so much and again, your site is awesome.

I think this site is a wonderful educational tool, but it could use one addition. My class is doing research on modern examples of Greek Architecture. It would be most helpful if there were sites that hand information about modern examples. My attempts to find information on the Internet have been fruitless, and I was hoping this site would have some. Your information about the Greek columns did indeed turn out to be useful, and the pictures will be a useful addition to my lessons.
