How to calculate your Grade Point Average

Your grade point average determines your eligibility to University, whether you meet graduation requirements, and it can be used by people like your teachers to track your performance and measure your achievements.

Points work like this: 
 
Letter Grade Points
A 4
B 3
C 2
D 1
F 0

If your marks are in numbers or percentages (e.g. 83%), find out the letter-equivalents from your teacher. And point values can vary from region to region, so check with your teacher to be absolutely sure those are correct.
