Maybe you are surprised in it’s name.Actually, both around the lip and the mandibularof the white-lipped deer are white,thence the name.It’s an uniqe animal in Qinghai-Tibetan plateau.The weight is over 200 kilos,and about 1.55-1.9 meters long.Ears are long and sharp.Father white –lipped deer have antlers,the ordinary have 5 antlers ,while the elder may have 6. White-lipped deer, the highest habitat deer ,live in the 3500-5000 m above sea level between the alpine meadow, scrub and forest areas, where the climate is usually very cold, but because they have thick hair, they are not afraid of the cold.Please have a look at the pictures I post,are they lovely?
