The development of Lishu in Han Dynasty
Han Dynasty was from 20 BC to 22 0 AD. During the 426 years, Chinese calligraphy was in its vital important growth. Divided into the Western Han and Eastern Han, Han Dynasty went through 300 years more. And the calligraphy developed from seal character to Lishu and then to the running hand. By the end of Han Dynasty, calligraphy has grown up. So Han dynasty was the most important time for Chinese Handwriting. Lishu was commonly used then.
