To appeal protection of the naked carp, helping people acknowledge the naked carp’s habits and habitation should come first
According to my investigation, the naked carp enjoy cold. They like to live in the shallow water, also often whirls between the water district or the big stone pile in the beach the running water slow place, beginning of winter dives resides in the deep pool or the rock seam. The compatibility is strong, to the living condition not strict request, the small pond and the shallow bund all can live, also may live in the salty fresh water.

According to my investigation, Qinghai Lake was located on the highland more than 3000m altitude, the water is very cold, food is limited and growth period is short. So that this kind of fish grows slowly, except for the first year they could grow about 3.5cm, there are no obvious growth period in another year. Their weight grow rapidly below the 4 age, reach 250g in average of 8-9 age, 500g may in 10 age; they grow to 50-60cm length,5kg,and 25 age generally; the most could reach to 95cm,6.5kg.

According to me investigates in the knowing community the milter to be more than the spawner, the reproductive capacity is low, cherishes the egg quantity equally is more than 16000 grains.Has the obvious breeding migration, every year from at the end of March enters in the river to August by Lake Qinghai to reproduce.The spawning place is generally slow in the speed of flow, the body is Shi Li, the pebbles or the spun yarn, the water depth in probably is in 0.1-1.1 meters clear enough to see bottom river course.

I have known by Internet that every year the little naked carp are born in fresh water and grow gradually in the Qinghai Lake, and after they grown-up, they swim to return to the hometown again reproduce their offspring. The reason is that the content salt of Qinghai Lake is too high which reaches as high as 12.49 ‰ to 15.5 ‰, moreover the alkalinity is high as well, the PH can be achieved 9.2, sometimes reached above 9.2, and in the altitude place even surpassed 10 PH, the high salinity and alkalinity which regarded as fatal to naked carp's germ cells growth.

I hold two reasons. Firstly, destruction of environment: due to the global warming, deserted the climate of Qinghai Lake area, drawdown the water level, the fish can not migrate and spawn. Secondly, the most important point that human’s hunting leading large amount of fish death. Because of their death, they can not mate and procreate.

Due to manmade and nature, most of branches were dried up before flowing into the Qinghai Lake, as a result, the naked carp’s spawn environment deteriorated day by day.
