Sharing our Solution
To share our information we gave our presentation to our teachers and put up a poster presentation for the whole school.
We also wrote Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory explaining our research and how trees reduce the Urban Heat Island Effect. We thought he would be interested because Cincinnati wants to see green roofs on building tops and plans to offer financial incentives to property owners to replace tar and shingles with vegetation. It might be cheaper to give money to people to buy trees.
