How This is a Global Problem

Our problem is global because there are large cities around the world. Urban Heat Islands are not the cause of global warming, but they are a tiny part of the problem. This is because large cities only cover a small part of the earth. As more cities are built more people will suffer from the side effect of the Urban Heat Island Effect. For example: dirty air means a harder time breathing for people. Also, more cities mean more greenhouse gasses will be created and released into the environment.
Our solution will help the problem because any city can plant trees in porous parking lots. It is also not as expensive as most things. We think it is the easiest solution because it would not take long to plant trees, it will make the cities prettier with all the different trees, and it doesn’t require a lot of technology.
