Elvis Presley

Elvis was the father of Rock and Roll. He pioneered the popularity of a whole new genre of music. He was also the first performer to pioneer mixing a "black" sound with a "white" sound... as in mixing the growling vocal undertones of the black race with that of the white population.

He also brought music's role in the world to a whole new level... influencing countless musicians from Little Richard to the Everly Brothers. He was also the first to 'sexualize' the music industry... bringing tonnes of screaming female fans to their knees with his swinging pelvis (his trademark 'move') and his charming stage manner.

He was one of the leading voices of the century and even the great John Lennon stated that "before Elvis, there was nothing."

  • In contrary to Tracy, I think that Miley Cyrus needs to get her things straight. She sings all those "disney" songs which encourage kids and yet she turns around and her scandalous photos are released.

Her biggest fans, the smaller kids will be badly influenced by her scandals because they look up to her so much.

For me, TANK (taiwanese) opened up the door and started my obsession for all things taiwanese

  • I have pondered over this question numerous times. I think the biggest influence in music is Mozart. He is so inspirational!

  • Ashley Tisdale is the biggest influence in the pop industry. She is so talented and her songs are just waht teenagers need to hear - heartbreak, etc. The song "Be Good To Me" changed the world in a very special way.

They were soon signed to Fearless Records.

They have become famous due to their unique sound as they have two lead signers with contrasting voices – Derek Sanders has a rich, low, emotional voice while Jason Lancaster/Jack Bundrick have a nasal and “raw”-sounding voice.
