Why We Need Music and Art
Our Conclusion
At the end of the day, music and art are always there... to comfort us, lead us and guide us to higher inspiration. Through them, millions, if not billions, have discovered hidden talents, risen out of poverty, helped the poor, found a way to express their feelings... music and art has given all of those people hope in a world that is running out of ways to be happy.
The roles that music and art play in our daily lives are so many and so complex that we cannot hope to cover them all in a single Narrative project. But what we have been able to tell you about, we hope you have taken to heart and understood. Music and art are not becoming obsolete in the modern world... far from it. They are in fact becoming increasingly needed and wanted, and NECESSARY.
We, as a team, hope that through this project you have gained a deeper understanding of music and art as well as the roles that they play in our daily lives. We hope that this project has been able to make a positive difference in your opinion of these very important parts of our human identity, and perhaps even persuaded you to pick up a paintbrush or a guitar yourself!
What we hope you have gained from this project... a sense of belonging and unity with music and art, is something that we all feel that the world should have in these times of trouble and uncertainty. At times like this, we need something to depend on and something to love.
Music and art are those things that we can depend on unconditionally. And when we love them, even just a little bit, we can trust that they will love us back in full.
WHY WE NEED MUSIC AND ART
In the warped modern world of technology, money, and education, somewhere between the lines lies the magic of arts and music. Nowadays, as the world becomes more and more challenging with life's twists and turns, people seek the aid to express innermost feelings and to escape reality. The solution is ARTS as they speak for people and most people the language of arts!!
Arts can consist of many different things, such as: painting, photography, music, drama,dance,etc, as we have shown you. All these aspects have been valued since, most probably, the Italian Renaissance which was around the 13th-14th cuntury. Many famous artists have come alive within this period with their own perspectives. For example, there's the famous writer William Shakespeare who said, ' The object of art is to give life a shape. And as imagination bodies forth, the forms of things unknown, the poet's pen turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing a local habitation and a name.' As well as the famous still-life painter Pablo Picasso who said, 'Painting is not made to decorate apartments. It’s an offensive and defensive weapon against the enemy'.
Music is a bad influence on people.
Through our vote results and survey results, we have seen that people have some bad opinions on the way music affects us.
Do the majority really think that drugs and rock and roll are always connected, for example, or that wherever an electric guitar goes, trouble follows?

Music is a part of our identity. It's what has shaped cultures and linked us all together in so many different ways.
Personally, through music, I have met so many interesting people and done so many fascinating things. Without music, life would not have been have as great for me as it has been.

Music is completely necessary. Music is life. I listen to music every day, and it has helped me through touch times, inspired me and has helped me relax. My parents met at a concert in University, and without music, I would not be here today.

Music and arts are the key to escaping the warped world we are now living in. We get to express ourselves, have our minds broadened and also, music and arts give us a sense of comfort as we know that we are not the only ones who are just looking for a glimpse of hope. Music and arts help us enhance imaginations, which can create to big dreams that are yet to be fulfilled.
