There are many traditional cultures in Indonesia, and one of them is Traditional Music. In Indonesia there are many Traditional Music devide by Traditiona Instrumental musics and Taditional song. In every Province in Indonesia have many Traditional Song and Traditional Insrument musics, and in every traditional song have special meant. Usually, traditional song is singing for culture ceremony. A traditional song appears based on experience in the olden time and this experience is real. The example of Traditional Music and Instrument are:
- Lir-ilir
Lir-ilir is a song from Central Java and it’s tells about “Wali Songo” that ask to the Moslems to pray (Sholat). In Javanese also have instrument music. For example is Gamelan. Gamelan is Instrument that usually used for Special moment that is wedding ceremony, Culture Ceremonial, and etc. Gamelan consist of Gong, Kenong, Kendang, Bonang, Gambang, and Saron.
- Suwe Ora Jamu
This song is also from Central Java. It’s tell about A boy that love to a girl in a place, but until now the boy didn’t meet the girl that he loved.
In that event, we want to introduce our culture that very unique and in the other country that culture can’t find. And please visit Indonesia, because Indonesia is interesting country.
