Dance
Actually, there are so many custom dances in Indonesia. I’ll tell you some of them. They are:
a. Kecak Dance
This dance is from Bali. It is performed by men who form circle. This was grow from Ramayana story.
b. Merak Dance
This dance is from Sunda. The clothes which they (dancer) wear are like “peacock (Merak)”. So, it’s called Merak Dance.
c. Gambyong Dance
Gambyong is from Central Java. Why this dance is called Gambyong? Because the first dancer’s name is “ Mbok Gambyong”
d. Bedhoyo Dance
It tells about love story between "Mataram" king (Sultan agung) and Kencanasari Queen (Ratu Kencanasari or Nyai Roro Kidul)
