About Us

How We Collaborated
Our collaboration was done through a variety of platforms including messaging tools including MSN Messenger and Gmail’s Google Chat. For the core of our collaboration we made use of Google Sites and Google Documents which enabled us to synchronize the most updated copy of the document online and with multiple members editing it at the same time. This proved handy in the collaborative process
Collaboration was not entirely easy as different members had different times they could meet up and different expectations of what the site should be. Moreover although all of the members were from the same school, they were not always able to agree on the schedules as each member would be busy with their own commitments and school projects.
Overall, the team meshed pretty well as each utilized his or her individual strengths. Shen Hao, the team leader was an excellent leader and organizer who prepared detailed plans including the sitemap, schedules and other aspects of the site.
However, not everything went according to what Shen Hao planned for. Some team members would procrastinate and cause Shen Hao’s planning to go awry which had upset him as he was very busy with his other co-curricular activities. As he was also on the school’s bilingual scholarship, his schedule was very packed and he had to juggle between his many commitments.
