Our pictures of the Gardens

The Pretoria National Botanical Gardens is a wonderful garden that is divided into two sections, the northern and southern sides. The northern side is hotter and drier than the southern side which creates a different environment for each side. An artificial waterfall is the main divider of the two sides. It creates an environment for indigenous wetland plants. There are seven ponds at that bottom of the waterfall, surrounding them are more indigenous plants. There are many plants and flowers in the garden and most of them are often used by traditional healers. We had a lot of fun in the garden!
