'Namrup' our hometown

Though it is not visible on the world map,there exists a small town named 'Namrup' under the district Dibrugarh of Assam.It was known as 'Kalapani' because of forest.Though it is a small place and nothing is much special about here but we do have three industries viz. Oil,Fertilizers(Urea) and electricity.Here we have a small stone industries and coal mines which is known as 'Koilery'.There are many tea-estates in Namrup.There are many Temples and Namghars with a small number of population.
