Collaboration and Diversity
Diversity
Both our team and our school are diverse. We are a high poverty-school, which means that a lot of our students don’t have much money. In our classroom, though we all have access to laptops and Think Quest so we can do anything that kids at wealthier schools can do. The people included in our team are Gage, Kelly, Trent, and Crystal. How we started is windmills are teacher Mr.wulff brought his fan in to test the windmills. The fan is so high powered it can power a windmill to power a water pump. Some of the windmills even reach up to 15.6 on high and 8.4 on low on a voltage meter. We also used a water pump for are windmill to see if the water would over flow out of the top. Clearly, you can tell that we have done a lot of interesting things with our windmill.
Collaboration
Team Collaboration
Our team had many problems and a lot of difficulties. It was very challenges but we still overcame all of it. One of the things we had to overcome was when one person got mad or sad one of us had to help them face it and move on. The way we divided tasks was we waited for 1 or 2 day to see who was best at the jobs. The jobs are builder which build the windmill and Gage and Trent were, the technologist was the one who worked on the blog pages and it was Kelly, and the last job was the journalist and that is Crystal. It was a little hard to find what job we were good at the end. We had 3 fights and they were about the building and the blog pages. We had a lot of collaboration and we moved on and we help each other and we think that all of the collaboration helped us all.
