Team Collaboration
Our team had some tough times when building the Windmill, but it always turned out well on the end. In are time together we worked situations out, had arguments, and made new friendships along the way. We helped each other divide tasks, share ideas, and get through some tough challenges. Our team started out as: Rebecca, Timmy, Clark, Kai, Brian, and Amia, but we ended up getting annoyed with so many people and we sort of split up into, Amia, Kai, and Brian,then, Rebecca, Clark, and Timmy. Now with 3 of us on a tean we had to get to work. Once we started learning about windmills and how they worked, we got different assignments me could work on. We would have somebody by the: Journalist, Technologist, and the Builder. Once we had all the jobs put together we got on it. We gave Brian all the parts to the windmills and he got right to business. After Brian started with the windmill Kai and I had to get to our own work. Kai started to take pictures of Brian building the Windmill and I got working on the blog. I got pictures and lots of content on in just 2 weeks! It was amazing to see how fast we could work together and resolve issues when we couldn't figure things out.
Toward the end of building there was a lot of disagreements and a lot of mess. We didn't know what blades we wanted or how many. We thought that we had it all taken care of until it started falling apart. Then Rebecca, Clark, and Timmy came back in our most deseperate time. We made the decision to come back together and put all our minds forth so we could finish the competition. We are all really proud with each other and can't wait to put our windmill to work!
