Family
The name Yudhoyono was not inherited either from his father or his mother. While Susilo Bambang uses Yudhoyono in naming his children, it is not an inherited family surname. In Indonesia, he is referred to in some media as Susilo and is widely known as "SBY"'. Abroad, he is referred to as Yudhoyono, a name that he chose for his military name-tag, while in formal meetings and functions he is addressed as Dr. Yudhoyono.
Yudhoyono lives both in the Presidential Merdeka Palace in Jakarta and his family residence in Cikeas, Bogor with his wife, Ani Bambang Yudhoyono. First Lady Ani Yudhoyono holds a political science degree from Merdeka University, and was the first vice chairman of her husband's Democratic Party. She is the eldest child of General (Ret) Sarwo Edhie Wibowo, one of Indonesia's high-profile generals.
The family's eldest son, Captain Agus Harimurti (born 1978), graduated from Taruna Nusantara High School in 1997 and the Indonesian Military Academy in 2000 and is a holder of the Adhi Makayasa Medal like his father. He is currently assigned to an infantry battalion in Bandung, West Java and is married to Annisa Larasati Pohan, a model and also the daughter of a former Bank Indonesia vice-president. In July 2006, Agus graduated from the Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies, Singapore with a masters degree in strategic studies. He is currently posted in Lebanon, being a member of the Indonesian contingent to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
The family's younger son, Edhie Baskoro (born 1982), received a degree with double major, Financial Commerce and eCommerce in 2005 from the Curtin University of Technology, in Perth, Western Australia and currently following his brother's footsteps in pursuing his Master Degree in the Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies, Singapore.

Yudhoyono campaign Democratic party for 2009 legislative election ran smoothly, it proofed by their victory. They led with the significant significant amount of votes. Democratic Party is the greatest party in Indonesdia now. It is really amazing prstasion not only for Democratic Party as a new Party which depeated the old parties like Golkar, PDIP, PPP, PAN and PKB.but also a brilian career for Yudhoyono as politician. Although the proses of election was crticized by their opponent parties.
The gate to second precidency openet widely for Ydhoyono, but it is not easy for him to lead Indonesian opposed by his political opponemt. Five years partnership with Jusuf Kala couldm’t run smoothly. It seemed some diference opinion sight in doing their duty. It seemed clesrly at the and of their leadership.
Some reserch done by some research board (both of Indonesian and abroad) told that Yudhoyono has the most potemtial figure as President Candidate who will win the vote in Precidency election. It is logic, because Indonesian people couldn’t see more suitable and capable figure than him for their leader in this time.
Seeing the victory of Democratic Party and Yudhoyono popularity, firstly GOLKar intent continue their coalition with them by sending Jusup Kala as Vice President candidate accompany Yudhoyono for the second time. But Yudhoyono’s five terms for Vice Prsident seemed wasn’t fufillrd by Jusup Kala, so they canceled their aim of coalition.
Poor Jusup kala who rejected as Vice President by Yudhoyono came to Megawati Sukarnoputri overing Golkar’s aim for cooperating. Firstly they didm’t show their agreement, and Golkar decide to kale Jusup Kala as President Candidat for president election next September. PKS (Prosperous and Justice Party) propose their leaders’ name as Vice President Candidate to accompany Yudhoyono. Supported by PKB who had make their coalition with Democratic Party before.

The first sign that points to the existence of a rivalry was after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami when Kalla, apparently on his own initiative, assembled Mministers and signed a Vice Presidential decree ordering work to begin on rehabilitating Aceh. The legality of his Vice Presidential decree was questioned[22] although Yudhoyono maintained that it was he who gave the orders for Kalla to proceed.
The second sign was in September 2005 when Yudhoyono went to New York to attend the annual United Nation Summit. Although Yudhoyono had left Kalla to take charge of proceedings at Jakarta, he seemed to be bent on maintaining a watch on matters at home.
Yudhoyono held a video conference from New York to receive reports from ministers. Critics suggest that this was an expression of distrust by Yudhoyono The suggestion seemed to gain momentum when Kalla only showed up for one video conference and then spent the rest of the time taking care of Golkar matters.Although things calmed down, especially with Golkar gaining another cabinet position in the reshuffle, the alleged rivalry resurfaced again in October 2006 when Yudhoyono established the Presidential Work Unit for the Organization of Reform Program (UKP3R). He tasked it with improving the conditions for business investment, executing government diplomacy and administration, improving the performance of the state-owned enterprises, expanding the role of small and medium businesses, and improving law enforcement as a whole.
The UKP3R was headed by Marsillam Simanjuntak, who served as Attorney General during the Wahid Presidency. In February 2007, Yudhoyono added welfare to UKP3R's tasks by ordering them to also put focus on the abolition of poverty, the direct cash assistance,public service as well as assisting programs in health and education.There were accusations that this was an attempt by Yudhoyono to exclude Kalla from government. Surprisingly six Yudhoyono’s rival from Golkar, PDIP, PPP, PAN, Gerindra, and Hanura. Declared the coalition of big parties at April 28 2009. It is a big problem for yudhoyono to hold his duty as the President of Rupublic of Indonesia opposed by six big rival party although individually he will support by his people and win the president election. “But don’t worry SBY the Buzzlightyear will be with you and will always support you, because we love you guy, bravo!”
