Impact of Future Schools

In order to make a global impact, a school must take responisbility by using renewable energy sources. It is a good way to teach the students of the importance so that they can act upon their knowledge. The students could take what they see everday at school and make it a part of their everyday life and pass it down to their children.

The Power of the Sun

Kyocera solar panels have more wattage per square foot and a lower mounting structure cost than similar solar panels. It would cost $883.71 per panel, which boils down to $4.21 per watt. The price has been reduced by 7%. It comes with a 2 year warranty, so there won't be a problem with maintenance.

Solar power gives us a way to use energy that the earth gives to us naturally. This power is renewable and leave no carbon foot print, helping the school make the world a brighter place.

Harvesting the Wind

The wind turbines that will be installed at the school will have three blades facing the wind. Wind turbines produce electricity 70-85% of the time. One turbine creates 4.7 million units of electricity each year. Energy produced by wind turbines is clean; no pollution is released into Earth's atmosphere.
