Cerro Mayo
Climbing the Cerro Mayo is an interesting experience, because it has the most typical trees of the region and because of all you can see from the top.
This hill is 1287 meters over the level of the sea, and from the top of it you can view the entire lake and its surroundings, and you can even see a part of Argentina.
As you start walking through the narrow path on the forest you will meet many different species of birds, such as the Cucao or the Fio Fio, and of trees. Near the top the trees start gradually to loose height and size, even though when they are the same age than the big ones closer to the lake. Then the trees just disappear and you can only see little plants and bushes growing near to the ground of the small but flat top of the hill.
